Cinders was our perfect little diamond. The kindest and gentlest and most innocent of dogs, this supermodel graced us with her presence for just four and a half years. She was prone to long stints of sleep and fleeting bursts of manic running in circles. Our lives revolved around her. If you have any memories or impressions of her no matter how insignificant we’d appreciate if you share them either publicly or privately.
Commemorate me where there is water
Still water
and muddy ponds
with screechy water hens.
And yellow iris in clumps all around
As I sink deliciously into the soft soothing ooze.
